Hey all sorry have not been on in a while just been crazy with work and travel. Still have not heard anything from the sheriff's office. Last I heard was March they were still conducting BI. I think everything is on hold now do to budget. Oh well it has only been six months since I applied so hopefully I will here soon. Time to go scan the forums and see what has been going on.

Nature of the beast, sometimes. Try to remain patient (easier said than done, I know) and be ready for the next step when they contact you.

It happens sometimes that the department has to put things on hold until they get a new budget approved.

By the end of the process, you will be an expert at playing the waiting game.

Keep in mind you are applying for a GOVT job. "Speedy" is just not in the description. ;)

thanks for the tips guys. Yeah it does suck waiting. Everything was speeding along and then boom brick wall. At least I have a job to keep tight until things progress, just hope it pans out. I will keep posted. time to go back and look at old posts I have missed out on.
