Hey guys!! thanks again for all the help on my previous thread....
Another quick question...I'm on the SS website requesting an employment history reference. Do I need to do 5 years or 10 for NYPD? The worksheet for SS asks what years you need info for. Seeing as though I wasn't legal to work 10 years ago...it feels a bit arbitrary =) But I hear the BI requests 10?

I'm not a police officer but why not just get the 10 year history just incase.

Im 22 and went through the process last year and got the 10 year one - Just be on the safe side
half of mine was blank but just do what they ask for and it will minimize the headaches
