What if you and neighbors don't get along

When it comes time for the neighbor interview, what happens if you don't get along with your neighbors? Nothing violent, just don't talk at all, unless it's something where we have to (Ex. a tree of ours fell in their yard, I called and said we'd take care of it, and everything was fine.) Is that going to play a major role in finding a job? I don't get along with the neighbors on either side of me (their relatives), but the rest of the block is absolutely fine, and I'm sure would say good things.

Tell your BI who you don't get along with and why. Also tell them who the good references are in your neighborhood. The BI will be able to place the proper weight on information coming from your neighbors who don't like you.

The whole world is not the midwest (i.e. Pleasentville). I am from a very affluent community in Connecticut and my neighbors could not want less to do with us. In fact, when I was 10 they tried to sue us for building a tree house!!! sighting that it was an "eye-soar" and it infringed on their sensibilities... they lost the suit but managed to make us get a town building permit for a bloody tree house :eek: We have not spoken to them since... take one guess what I told my BI about them...
