    Interview

Hey everyone. I got a phone message today for a local PD for an interview. Can I assume (which I hate doing) that I successfully passed the background investigation? I know last week my personal references were called. The BI got a hold of two and the third has been trying to return his message as of Thursday. Last time I spoke with the BI he said he was going to start it. Any help is appretiated!!!

In our agency the interview is done first and then a background investigation is started.

Usually there are follow-up interviews to the background investigation. Ask you any more questions that s/he has, or confirm certain things to make sure are not a liar.

Our investigation takes months to complete........with all the requests for info., it takes people awhile to respond and you need time for follow up.
