    Westfield (Indiana) PD

I took Westfield's written test on Jan 26th and got a letter back from them this week saying that I passed and will be doing the oral interview and physical agility test on March 7th :D . Personally, I find it a little strange that their having my oral interview before the physical agility test, but it's not really a big deal and I'm still happy to have a shot at joining them. Just thought I'd let you all know.

It's not really that strange... there are around 18,000 police agencies in the US alone, they all do it differently. For me, the fitness test is absolute last thing I am doing.

New Jersey State Police for example conducts one of the most comprehensive background investigations possible.. they save that for dead last, since they want to make sure you will pass all the other components of the process before they invest money in your background. In todays world, nothing is strange ;)
I am on a lot of lists...
There is no excuse for stupidity- except genetics.
