I got a conditional offer with my local PD, finally. I have been disqualified many times for background reasons (never knew why), but apparently now I'm good enough. Whatever, I'm just happy I made it.

I have the psych and med in the next few days. I really don't care if I pass or not -- I'm just happy to know that I am considered being of sufficient moral character to be a cop. I'll let you guys know if I pass the med and psych!

Psych written was insane. Psych oral is Monday, then I'm done. I'll keep you guys posted.

Here in MN we have to take it before we go to Skills or what some other states have "academy". So long before you even get to apply to a PD they know if you'r crazy or not:D, but really, after the 300th true/false question i WAS going crazy!

the whole point of it is to find out if you have anything wrong with you and that you are telling the truth throughout the test. hence the same questions over and over

It was the CPI (california personality inventory), plus 2 more inventories (none were MMPI). Total about 1000 questions, plus an additional psych history questionnaire.
