Do i have a chance in LE/Background issues

Hi- i would like your opinion on my background and if you think i have a shot at being hired by a LE agency. i plan on applying in 5 years when i retire. So here it goes...

1.35 years old
2.associates degree
3.15 years military (joined 1992) currently E-7 (flawless Military record)
4.tried marijuana once 1991
5.steroids twice 1991
6.arrested in 1992 for disturbing the peace
7.license suspended in 1998 for not paying sppeding ticket. (I did not blatently not pay the fine i asked my fiancee to pay the ticket while i was at sea, did't happen. However i roger up that i was accountable!)
8.stole a bike when i was 15 and a package of steaks also at 15yo
9.No speeding tickets since 1994 (In 1994 recieved a ticket for 36 in a 25mph zone)
10.In aprox. 1990 recieved a illegal u-turn citation.



Ihave been very honest and tried to disclose everything to you so please let me know what you feel my chances are. v/r M

Well those are some hurdles but I don't think it's too much to overcome. Time helps and there's been a lot of time between the problems. I don't see anything that would hold you back from applying. Good luck.

Thats weed smoking and steak stealing I would just forget about bringing those up ever again even with friends because it sounds like you experimented like the rest of the ladies in this forum. But dont miss the main point if you bring this up some okie from muskogee will thing you are a junkie and couln't resist if you were to come in contact with this stuff. It is important though are you honest do you strive to uphold the law and do you want to strive to be the best that you can be...Well? It is so important to be honest in the application process. Many cops have gotten hired with minor incidents like what was described by the OP. Being honest is the only way to be considered. If you lie to get hired you'll lie to win cases in court, you'll lie about anything. Giving out advice this monumentally stupid and unethical earned booblies an immediate ban. No warnings on integrity.
