    Received Call for Interview

    Received a call for my interview with the RCMP yesterday. Im pretty stoked about it.

    Any tips? :cool:

    Be HOnest, and open about everything. RCMP interviews a TON of people and weeds them out from there. RCMP is also one of the longest and hardest to get onto.

    But good luck man, this is a major step in reaching your goal.

    I recently completed my background investigation and I would suggest along with being completely honest, be confident and sure of yourself.

    Keep in mind they are interviewing you in hopes of finding reasons to hire you. Again, honesty seems to be a BIG reason. Don't be afraid to allow your personality to show and don't try to be something you are not.

    This is just my .02.

    Colorado State Patrol
    2-12-07 written exam taken

    5-23 Received call "passed exam" , and sched for ploygraph. Passed

    6-16-07 background investigation complete .(only took 2weeks.) Passed

    6-13-07 polygraph taken

    6-16-07 received "passed" call for polygraph

    9-10-07 received call that I have been appointed to the academy and scheduled for pt and psychological test.

    11-2-7 received pass and "final offer"!

    1-8-08 start!
