So my advice is this. Do not apply to any police department now, or when you turn 21. Get your credit straightened out, develop a good job performance record, keep away from the drugs and alcohol, and do not get in any more trouble. I believe you now know the difference between right and wrong, but you now have to prove it by a length of time of showing that difference.

But for some reason I'm just having a hard time believing that I need to wait until I'm 30 or so to become a police officer. I understand that if you come from a military background, you would like to believe that ex military people would likely be hired before a regular civilian. Do not get me wrong guys, I have asked for your opinions and I am thankful for them. But, to say that i would not have a chance at any of the thousands of police departments in this country would be ridiculous. You do not have to be godly to be a police officer. Far from it.
You ask and you ask and you ask. We answer, we answer and we answer. You even sought out the advice of your professor, who told you the same thing we told you.
Yet, again and again and again, you come back with the same question; twisted, tied, painted, colored, dyed and constructed in many a different manner. Yet no matter how you attempt to disguise it, you keep asking the same question over and over again.
Get over it already. If you aren't going to listen and follow our advice, fine, do what you want, but stop involving us by asking the same thing repetitively. Do it and leave us out of it, or, don;t do it and ask something new or contribute something worthwhile to the forum, besides your inane questions.:mad::mad:
