What is the best way to run a background check on myself? (Before I get harassed, this is because I need to obtain accurate dates for my background investigator.)

I am also unable to obtain my driving history from NYS DMV further then 3 years back. A few of my tickets were well before that and I dont want to not disclose them. Any ideas?

It depends on which category you're looking for. If you want your education dates, request a transcript from your school. If you need employment dates, you can make a request through the Social Security Office. If you need dates where you lived, try to get the above two and fill in the blanks.

For your driving history, explain it to them just how you did with us. You could go back three years and disclose approximate dates and charges for everything else. If you remember the court where a case was filed you can check with them too.

Just disclose everything in your background with approximate dates.
