Just completed polygraph

I just completed the polygraph a couple days ago (Colorado State Patrol). It was a stressful time as I know many of you already are aware. I guess I am looking for some piece of mind if possible. I was told by a field training officer that I have nothing to worry about (easy for him to say :rolleyes.

I felt uncomfortable during most of the process because I kept thinking of little things that may fall into the category of the question I was being asked. I would tell the examiner the details and we would move on. My question is; if there are any of the questions/ responses that raise concern with the examiner, will they typically ask for more details or clarification after the exam.

I am just wondering because I felt like such a dirt bag after the exam, but everyone keeps telling me I am fine. Is it typical to feel that way...and still get hired?

If you dont walk out of there feeling like you've commited the crime of the century then you didnt have a good polygrapher lol. Seriously you have nothing to worry about EVERYONE feels like that when they go through the poly. Good luck!

She was great then!! haha. Just kidding! :D Thank you for the vote of confidence. I was told by the background investigator that I was one of the top candidates, but I guess I will not feel any better until I am holding that offer letter! Thanks again!

I received a call from the background investigator tonight. He said the polygraph came back great and nothing to worry about. He said I am one of the top applicants in review! Man I feel much better, but I know I am not out of the clear.

Now that I have gone through the process of the polygraph with positive results, I feel my duty to reiterate to anyone else in the process to be ABSOLUTLY honest in your answers.
