Monk if you did nothing wrong while you were in the service I would not worry about what they will find out even if they look. If they do look into your Mil. history they will be looking for court martials, article 15's etc...etc...etc...
They will probably want some references from people you served with.
For the rest of the stuff I would just be honest with your BI and you should be alright. Honestly I would call and speak with the departments you wish to apply with and ask them.

Everything.Even though i have nothing bad in my military background, how much info can they find out about the time i was in the military.

The questions is what dont you want them to find out about concerning your military enlistment? I can tell you as a former service member when I went through the process the Military sent them a cd with my info... As to what was on that cd I couldn't tell you, I never asked because I knew my background was clean...
