Curious as to any sworn officers on this forum from Minneapolis or Saint Paul PD. I have worked for both agencies in a non-sworn fashion, and now am looking to possibly lateral transfer from a sworn position. If anyone knows of an officer that they can put in touch with me, it would be greatly appreciated!

I am currently a Chicago cop but grew up in St. Paul and my brother is a Minneapolis cop. I know that both departments have had hiring freezes for awhile. I would seriously check into each department before leaving your own cause Minneapolis was going to lay off quite a few officers at one point last year. I think they are both excellent departments with the budget as a big setback.
