hello everyone!!! i recently applied for the "L.A.S.D. and L.A.P.D" and i did not make it. I received letters in the mail stating that there are better qualified people, so they didnt accept me!!! im really sad, at least i know i tried. is there any of you who struggled to get hired, but eventually got hired by a police agency??? any advice would help. thanks for your time.

Well I'm no LEO, but my Dad didn't get hired until his 3rd try I believe. In the meantime he worked as a Jailor. The Jail is connected to the PD here, I'm not sure if that's how it is everywhere.
My Dad was pretty bummed after he didin't get hired the first few times, but he eventually got hired. Don't give up and good luck.
