Thanks for the quick replies. I do now understand the relative thing. As for the former employers, the letter said I could not use them. I suppose I could use current employer or co-workers right? I think I should just call them to make sure about the employer. Thanks again for the help.
Try to get references who have known you for a while. If you have friends or professional contacts from activities/hobbies those would be good. Neighbors or coworkers who have known you for a long time.
