Thanks, Chris! Hopefully, with a 92% I'm not too far behind...lol. I can't wait to get the process rolling!

The thing I'm concerned about is when I called the DCAS phone number it said they don't have a record of me taking the exam. Also, when I called APD they said that DCAS doesn't have anyone in the system from #6011 yet because the final scores haven't been established on a list yet.

    I'm so confused!

SO I got my letter yesterday March 28, 2007 saying I passed the exam for NYPD 6011. I'm taking the medical on april 13. I'll most likely end up in the July academy if everything goes well.

Hello how is everyone doing i call the (212 recruit) number and they gave my list number but i have not received my letter to go on to the next step. I took test number 6011 on 2/23/07. The person i spoke with told me she did not have my test score but she said that if i have a list number that i pass the test is this true.

this is because there is a apd list and a dcas list...APD starts processing based on the unofficial results...they give you a preliminary #, once the list is certified by dcas it could stay the same it could change. I only know this because it happened to me. My intial # was 1XXX and it changed to 2XXX by the time it was certified. Dont worry it wont make a huge difference in the hiring process, they are desperate for people

    1. I dont think its humanly possible to fail that test. 2. If she works there and told you that you passed she's probably telling the truth...

Your right! Hell, even the canine officers have to take that test and apparently they pass with ease :D

I wonder why they make it so ridiculously easy in comparison to other PO exams

cause they are desparate for people...the problem is 1/2 of them elminate themselves down the road by either not clearning medical, or failing the psych or JST, or even the background
