    Question Hiring Question

Ok so I won't ask a specific "Can I get hired with my background" question (I think you guys have taken care of this in about a zillion other posts) but I would like to ask a related question. I do have some drug use in my past and I'd like to know when I should bring this up or if I should just wait until it's asked during the poly. The department I'm applying to will conduct the poly after the board review and I intend to be completely honest about this part of my life.

I appreciate any thoughts you might have on this.

    Thanks

Drug use is typically brought up on the application and / or background interview.

    Vinny,

What drug was it? Believe it or not, this is actually very important.

Bring it up when asked. It will be asked when that department wants to know, so tell them then. For my current application it has been asked about 4 different times already and I am sure it will come in my poly in two weeks.
