I take the 3 hour psych test on Friday afternoon. Not really worried about it but not looking forward to it either.
I'm more concerned with what I should wear to it. This is a small, country town that is very lax. Debating on what I should wear???

I think you should wear a suit to everything except the PAT.
The department I am in process with says suit and tie to all meetings with the exception of my poly which is done by a contractor and apparently the PD won't even have a rep there. Other than that I didn't have to wear a suit for the PAT, obviously.
Better to be the guy that people think is over dressed than the *** clown who looks like he showed up for a NASCAR race. Not saying that you would roll in wearing a Tony Stewart shirt, but you get what I mean.
Just one of many reasons to wear a helmet!

I'd dress business casual. But more importantly....have you been fitted for your straight jacket??? :p :D

I hate psych tests, if you aren't crazy before taking one you sure feel crazy afterwards!
When I took mine I just dressed nice, no suit or anything, of course I was the only one taking it and I've known the guy who was administering it for over 20 years. But just looking well is always a good idea.
Kind of reminds me of the nozzle I tested with in Lubbock, he was wear those super baggy pants with all the metl crap on them, a Misfits t-shirt and a Slipknot trench coat, dude looked all sorts of suspect. Needless 6to say he didn't pass the paper test.
Good luck Nikon...![]()

Dress to impress ( every chance you get). Except for the PAT.

This is kinda funny. LT just called me to tell me that the Chief will be taking me up to meet to the Town Manager today so I should wear something decent: "you don't have to wear a suit or anything like that but something other than jeans and a T-shirt" he says. I said that I already had a suit out and ready to go. He laughed and said ok. :D
