Just thought I would throw out my polygraph experience, I took my polygraph yesterday and it was my first. I was a little nervous to say the least but I knew I had nothing to hide. We had a little chat about my background packet, he said I had a clean slate so he would stick with the 10 generic questions. The only thing I didn’t like was the blood pressure monitor, he had the cuff on so tight that it kept making my arm turn purple and burn. I told him on multiple occasions that my arm hurt since he did the questions in 4/3 minute intervals, asking the same questions. Well the last session of questions I couldn’t take it anymore my arm was toast so I flinched during a question he saw it and said it might ruin the chart. Well sure enough he said it made my answer sound inconclusive. So I retested again, another round of questions and he said for the same question it was inconclusive. Well the question was so far out of left field about me committing a felony that I’ve never been caught for. He asked me if I’ve ever committed a felony that he should know about I said maybe I’ve sped a few times in my life but nothing on a felony level, he said there’s got to be something I said sorry I’ve never done anything to jeopardize my integrity, you can check my background packet again but I’m squeaky clean. He said he would send in my results to my BI. I got there at 9 and was out of there at 10. I have no idea what to think I don’t know if I failed and have no idea what to think of the polygrapher and his antics. I have one more step if I passed the polygraph so hopefully I did. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated on.
