    NYPD Medical Question..

Just took 6011 today. Confident I did very well.
Quick question though about the medical process..

I had my spleen removed due to a sports related accident about 6 years ago. On no medication, never had any complications because of it. I've had a college professor, an ex-NYPD lieutenant tell me that it's "not a problem at all", just want to verify again.

How will this effect the medical process?

    Please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Rob

They will most likely put you on a medical hold until you can get them all the medical documentation on the procedure as well as want any medical evidence that you have not had any issues with it. I dont see why though that they would DQ you. Maybe one of the more experienced LEO's can help too.

I had a similar case.. Just go to the Hospital where it was removed and get the record of your stay.
My I investigator didnt really ask for mine but before i got to her some one told me to do that just in case. It depends on your investigator .. you should get the record from the hospital just to be safe...
