    Polygraph!!

    Hello,

I just wanted to give an update on my status. I took the polygraph exam this morning for the OSHP. This is the first poly I have ever taken, it was an experience to say the least. The exam lasted three hours which was a shock to me.

I feel pretty good overall about the exam. He gave it to me twice because the first time I was a little nervous. The second time around he said it was alot better. He reviewed the results and asked a couple other questions and that was it.

He stated that I was in their range and should be fine. He said that I did good. He said he was going to write his report and forward it on to the screening committee. He said I should hear something pretty quick from recruitment.

The next class starts May 16th.

They asked about everything. I had already filled out the PHQ packet, which they had in front of them. We had an interview, and he had me read a pamplet about the polygraph itself.

He then had a seperate background packet that he filled out. He asked about everything from theft, employment history, drug use, sexual histoty and alcohol usage just to name a few.

I was suprised myself at how long it took. The whole time was not just the polygraph exam itself, we talked about other things that had nothing to do with the polygraph. He was a pretty cool guy.

Congrats on passing. Sounds like you're doing well with the process, and hopefully you'll get into that May class. Keep posting with updates.
