Hiring Problem

I understand that mushrooms is a BIG no no and in most departments, not all, it's an auto DQ. Now my question is, is there any departments in california that would not DQ auto? I understand that there are waiting periods from when you took the drug also. any advice?

Even if it isn't an auto DQ you are going to have a very hard time competing with applicants who haven't done a hallucinate. I would venture to say 99% of departments will not hire for this.

Can't speak for California, but having worked in Alaska and Washington, I know that hallucinigenics of any kind is an auto DQ no matter what the time frame. Lord knows they don't want you helping an 80 year old lady across the street and have you pump 15 rounds into her because she suddenly turned into a blood sucking banshee.

How hard is this ?? Just go to the dept. you plan on hiring into and ask them directly or man up to your decisions and face the fact that neither you, myself, or anybody else that did mushrooms over 8 years ago will ever get hired as a LEO
