I was just wondering if anyone can give me any input here. I applied for the Flint PD back in November for the February academy. I passed my written, physical, and oral board. I met with a Sgt. to complete my background, he said it was "due" Jan 29th. It's now February 9th and I haven't heard anything, I'm reeeallly starting to wonder. When I talked to him I saw two other applicants come in and out in about 20 mins, we sat and generally "bs'd" for about 3 hrs. I thought things went really well, and he said he saw no problems. He told me that it's not uncommon for them to call and do your chief's interview/medical/psych in only one or two days. He advised me that I should be prepared to be "hurried through" in order to start in Feb.
My question is, is this uncommon, how long of a notice is normal? Also I'm wondering if I've been passed over and they just didn't tell me I'm out, do they usually let you know if you're out?
Thanks guys
