I would call it a blessing because running with it 15 degrees would suck. The difference here for Febuary and March weather is usually 30-40 degrees.

Finn where are you located? My academy starts in March also. I missed the Feb. entrance date.

My friend who is in the LAPD academy now got his notice on Thursday to start on the following Monday's academy. I called today to see my statsu (done with everything) and was told I would know my outcome in a couple weeks. That's going to give me about a week or less to give my employer if I do get hired.

I think all departments should try and I stress try to get word back early or give heads up early because some of us don't want to burn any bridges, applicants may need that bridge if one quits or forced out of the program.
