How can I figure out why I was DQ'd

I failed to include a previous ( 3 yrs prior, temporary) employer and the job I wasin the runnning for was given to someone else as they thought I was trying to hide something.

mcsap, how did they find out about the temp. job?

Most of the agencies around my area will NOT tell you,specifically, why you get DQ'ed.

The agency that I am currently with was also doing a background investigation on me at the same time. I HAD included the temp job info with my dept. but forgot to with the other. The Detective that did my background still works here ( but I out rank his butt !) . He said they communicate back and forth with other depts. about the same poeple who happen to be on both dept's hiring lists.

The agency that didn't hire me never said why. And if I didn't have my current job , I never would have found out.

camarosuper6, you got dq'd! that sucks! i have read some other posts of yours with your qualifications and you seemed to be a good candidate. you had no drug use at all? you didn't hold off on you applic.? i don't know what that could be or mean. if you know your background is keep going for it-i guess even if you know it isn't clean keep going for it-just be a good cop! by the way, what departments are you still in with if you don't mind me asking.
