    Unhappy I Failed The Oral Psych!!!!

    Hey there everyone...i just found out why i got disqualified from the L.A.S.D.!!! i got disqualified because "I DONT HAVE ENOUGH LIFE EXPERIENCE"....THAT WAS THE REASON!!!! i appealed the interview though....i have another interview with a different doctor.I'm also applying with the L.A.P.D. and i have a polygraph in feb......so these are my processes like!!! if any of you know if appeals are worth it, or if they come through please....let me know!!! thanks for your time....

    How old are you? do you still live at home? do you have any credit? Military experience? College Education? These are all things that departments will look at when considering the life experience of an applicant. Good luck with the appeal.

    If you have only lived at home and rarely if ever left your hometown of 5,000 population...I can kind of see their point. Probably just getting a year or two older will make a big difference.

    Get a degree or go in the military. You'll be a great candidate in a couple years.

    Unhappy i live in L.A.

    i live in the most populated city....L.A. i dont know what they are thinking. i have no felonies, no tickets, no drugs, i even passed the polygraph....I appealed the whole interview though, if they dont accept me they for sure lost a good candidate!...........thanks for your info guys!

    Did you come out of highschool? If so, maybe you should "explore life" a bit more and then try it again.
