Nypd Parking At The Academy..

Street Parking: East 11th/12th Street, Avenue B thru 3rd Avenue. You might find a spot, especially if there is no school or you have night tour. Take the M15 or 3rd Avenue bus straight to the academy. This is all in the 9th precinct, outside of the recruit restricted parking area.

Garages: East 25th Street, 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue ($13); FDR Drive & East 20th Street ($13 but a long walk); East 22nd Street, 1st Avenue to 2nd Avenue ($16 - closest one). These are daytour prices, they might be higher if you need to park at night.

Screw that, just make a Xerox of your ID card and put it in the windshield and write in black sharpie under it "I'm on the job" and park on the street as close as possible.
