    Disclosure of a Legal Activity?

    I was in the service a few years ago, and some buddies and I decided to go down to Tijuana. To make a long story short, I engaged in an incident of legal prositution which I regret doing. Is this something I would have to reveal in my background packet for a police officer? And someone told me that one of the questions they ask on the polygraph exam is if you have ever engaged in an undetected crime which includes prosititution. Would I be lying if I said no because prostitution is legal in Mexico? And how would this disclosure effect my chances of being selected?

    Explain the situation the ploygrapher, you did not commit a crime in tijuana but you feel like it is which may trip the machine, disclose it and you'll be ok

    It's not that big a deal, especially given a couple years since. Just disclose it.
