I've taken two polys with two different agencies. The first one I took, I was told that I was moving throughout the test and I got DQ'ed because the examiner thought I was trying to cheat the test. I could have sworn that I didn't move at all. While taking the second polygraph for the second agency I told the examiner about this, and he said that the first polygrapher thought that I may have been using countermeasures. But on the second test, I remember I got the jitters and my foot started tapping the floor repeatedly. After that line of questioning I made note of the fact and apologized for it. I ended up passing the second one. These were two agencies that were neighboring cities and had the same standards and same questions. Basically, what I am trying to get at is that you need to tell the truth, and the rest is up to how the polygrapher interprets the results. If you lie and get caught, you will never get in anywhere. But if you fail and tell the truth, just move on to another agency. Best of luck in the process.
