I made it to the background stage with the Seattle PD, and am a little bit anxious about it. There isn't anything disqualifying in my background, and I have been completely honest with them.
My question is how do they evaluate candidates in this stage? Specifically do you pass by default if they don't find anything too bad, or do you need to impress them with great references, volunteer work, academics, etc.
Im a young guy (23) fresh out of a University with only a couple summer jobs in my work history. I had the benefit of my parents assisting me financially through college. Im sure my former employer's, profs, and friends will say good things, but for some reason I am still uneasy about the process. Can anybody briefly explain how they evaluate?
