    Psychological Exam

In 2001 I was using Xenadrine which contained ephedrine to lose weight . It was a humid 90 degree day and I was working on my cardio. I felt a little uncomfortable pain in my chest but decided to finish the last 5:00 minute jog. I completed the final 5:00 minute jog, but was unable to cool down afterwards with a rapid heart rate. I was sweating heavy with a dry throat and thought I was becoming dehydrated. I was with a friend who decided to drive me to the hospital. I explained what happened to the doctor thus I was admitted for two days. The doctor concluded I did not have any heart problems, but I was slightly dehydrated . I followed up with my primary doc explained the situation and mention that I believed I had a mild case of anxiety from the ephedrine. The doc told me to stop taking the Xenadrine and prescribe a low dose of paxil. He said that if I felt that way again I can start a taking the paxil. I filled the prescription in 2001, but 6 years later I never had the feelings again.

Question - Will this disqualify from becoming a LEO?

I seriously doubt it. You were probably just dehydrated like the ER doctor told you.

Sounds like an isolated event. I doubt it would effect your possibilities.
