Today I was finally offered a job as a police officer for my local town. My whole life I've known (well since i was 5) that being a police officer is what was I was put on this planet to be (as corny as that sounds :p ). I looked up to the men with a shield since I could remember and in 6 months I will be one of them.
I start the Academy in Jan 8th and graduate on may 25th.
I'm 21 now an I'll be the youngest member in my town (small town, only 24 full time officers) but I can't wait to graduate and start field training with a fellow officer.
Wish me luck guys and thanks for all the help from the board when i've asked....I'll be sure to stick around though.

Thanks guys...this still hasn't even really hit me yet..once i start the first day of the academy it probably will.
I can't wait to start and give it 110% in there.
