Depends.. I don't do well on multiple questions, but essay is easy for me.

Every department have different standardlize test.

My department don't have multiple test...just essays. LOve it.

It's a monster. A veritable brain-buster. I walked out of it in tears, convinced that the test had actually knocked points off my IQ.

Seriously, there are hundreds upon hundreds of different written tests for the hundreds upon hundreds of law enforcement agencies in the US. Some are arduous; some are effortless.

Printed with black ink on white paper, usually several pages long.

It was easy enough for me to score a 100, but hard enough that no one else scored a 100.

I think you should first tell us which department so that someone who has taken it could give you an idea. Honestly, its most likely gonna have portions on memory, reading comprehension, and possibly questions like "What would you do in this situation?" Most are multiple choice so study for the exam seriously!
