alright guys sorry i guess i took it to far lax maybe you were joking whatever you can never tell on a forum board it just seemed like that. Much respect to you guys in the academy and I'm ure I will see you out in the field one day, and you won't even know it was me im not all hardcore nerdy/serious i just knew of somebody who went down the tubes with fraternization and when i see a slight comment i start preaching. forget about it and lets keep the wine flowin!

lol alright man truce. I dont know how you guys can even get a drink on the 25k salary the only way i will be able to survive is with the extra 1000 dollars a month from the VA for GI bill benefits I paid for when i was in the military otherwise i could not support my family on 25k

ehhh i shouldnt talk since i live with my mom on long island. Im straight out college with no debt and really no bills. But for my other company memebers, its realll rough. But its what i want to be doing, so i wouldnt really change anything.

i live out by westhampton beach i will be moving back with inlaws to take this job with a 45k paycut so i guess im serious lol. i used to box amateur and live on 33k before i got this job so i know i can make it i willl be moving back to queens so the subway will work for me unless i take a job at jfk laguardia or islip. i just dont like the fact of sitting down all day in a tower. it will make you out of shape..

Glad to see im not the only one taking a massive pay dive in salary (mine matches yours and a bit some : P). When i met my bi for the first time he was telling me that maybe i should stay at my current job (not to give up my job) as i will not be making the money that im making for at least 6 years (or unless i get promoted to sgt : P). I told him that ive planned for it and besides i want to do this.

Any boxing in the academy?

lol thats funny my buddy is a pro fighter in queens and e said the nypd will not let him fight pro only amateur so he did not join. I used to spar him all the time and was training for the golden gloves wouldve been nice to box some guys with no experience!!

After today, I guess I'm done with everything. Only thing left is the interview with my investigator, and final answer regard to hiring.

I went to the oral phys today, and I'm hoping I passed that portion. She asked a lot of questions, and some question was really confusing, so I had to ask her to rephrase it and searching for an answer. I hope this doesnt hurt me. At the end she asked me to fill out a piece of paper with my name, address, exam #, list #, and ect... Anyone know what this paper stand for?
