I just wanted to point out that the reason for the first letter of each word being in all caps is because the tard is still writing his ENTIRE POST IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!

This was a simple question about a mistake warrant. There are no questions about have you ever had a warrant for your arrest. I am truly honest but why give them something to DQ me for when One it was a mistake and 2 they do not ask. They also dont ask how many fights people have been in so i tell them i had a scrap with a kid in H.S ?

You tell them because they are going to FIND IT thats why. You dont think they are going to call the navy and ask them about you or get your service records? You want to take your chances omitting information that could be discovered or cause you to fail a poly be my guest, but dont come whining on this forum when you get DQ'ed.

If you tell them about it, at LEAST you'll get the opportunity to explain what happened. If they find it first I guarentee you your explanation wont be needed. You can just wait by the mailbox for the thanks but no thanks letter.

Personally to me it seems you have an issue with being honest and this is not the career for you. Show some personal integrity and be upfront and honest or go work at Micky D's. The choice is yours.

Going off my experiences this would be wrong. Every department, without exception, I applied at wanted to know of any physical altercations in my past.

You're completely right! Don't report it. They'll never find it. It was just a simple mistake and the BI would rather you not tell them because it makes you look more honest that way. Now, is that what you wanted to hear? :D

If you dont disclose and they find out ( and BI's are GOOD at finding things that people like you think won't be found) , they WILL DQ YOU. And from then on , you will be asked if you were ever DQ'd by any other department and you will have to say YES. And you will have to admit it was for failing to disclose.

And you will then spiral downward because PD's simply are not going to trust you to tell the truth and if they don't trust you , they won't hire you.
