Hi Guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that if you took test 6010 and saved your answers the exam key is now viewable on the DCAS website. I got three wrong but with my residency points that should put me over 100. Good Luck Guys.

Don't worry bro. You should still get the call even though you got an 80. It just may take a little bit longer.

Congrats to your son NYPD and congrats to merwindow. I don't know about January but we should definitely be in the July class. Pending no problems of course.
Before I start, I guess I will begin with an introduction. My name is Jason, for a while, I was known as Corporal Yu. I'm on terminal leave from my medical retirement (EAS: Nov 30). Served 4 years in the Marine Corps, deployed twice, and also stayed in the beloved Naval Hospital San Diego for a year and two months. I took the 6010 test on Friday night, and after about the 50th question, I begin to start hating life. It has a lot of reading, and funny thing is that the questions are just recycling over and over again, only thing changes are just words and names.
So I checked my score today, not as well as I expected, but do passed, 84.4, oh well... I knew nothing about applying for the NYPD, nor was I given a brief on how to use my points and ect... I put down veteran points, and injured/disable veteran points, not sure if I should use those points, but I guess it's a bit too late now. Wonder if someone may explain to me the resident points, I grew up in NYC, paid NY taxes, even till this day. There is an additional point system for that?
Since I don't know anything, I called the NYPD applicant processing center today, and they told me that I will be getting a letter in the mail soon. Wonder how that work out.
Anyhow, good luck to those that took the 6010 test. I thought being a Jarhead would've got me some lead-way through the door, but nope, still had to do like everybody else.
suprisingly enough i got 9 wrong for an 89. I thought I would of done better but hey what can we do now. So yeah any idea when they will start making calls?
Hey Everybody! I just got a letter telling me I passed and that I need to report to Police Academy on 11/18 at 0630am to start the processing for the January '07 class.
Evidently my exam/list is 6010 / 2xx. Anyway, I am incredibly excited. It is a tremendous honor to be considered for the position of Police Officer and I cannot wait for the 18th. Love to hear reactions from others who got the letter....
