    Question of all Questions!

    After my ride along sunday im 100% sure I want to do law enforcement. But yesterday, my DC BI asked me which department I wanted to go to? DC or PG. That question freaked me out. I applied the same time.

    If you had to choose, which one would you go to? MPDC or PGPD?

    MPDC=Metropolitian Police District of Columbia
    PGPD=Prince George's County Police Department

    MPDC definatley. It sounds a lot cooler to say. "Its okay m'am im MPDC." I mean PGPD sounds like your going to some childrens movie. "Dad can we go se Bo Bo the Blue Dog, its rated PGPD." :D

    jk. i dont knowanything about them, so good luck.

    How does that response help anyone out? :confused:

    There's no requirement to post if you don't have actual information to share.

    I'm not familiar with PGPD, but have heard about MPDC. From what I understand, it's similar to Birmingham PD here in AL. The admin is terrible and unsupportive of the line officers, but the officers look after each other. If you're interested in both, apply to both, and take whichever gives you an offer first. If you don't like it there, do a few years to get some experience and training, and then move to a better department.

    Pgpd Or Mpdc

    I second ROS, I don't know what IamThelaw was thinking. If you don't know a certain PD don't make fun of them.

    I would go with PGPD because they are a growing police dept with excellent benefits. Prince George's County crime wise, is like a mini-D.C and a mini-Baltimore City. You can get the same amount of experience in PGPD like the other 2 cities I mentioned and if you want to move on, you will have the experience from a respectable PD. Go to their website, they have a new one.

    I would go with Prince George, but that's because I hate being in DC (no offense to those who are). Too liberal. Of course it's no secret that I don't like NoVA at all and stay away from it as much as I can.

    They've got us surrounded? Good. Now we can fire in any direction, those bastards wont get away this time
