    Bor-ring

Is boredom a good enough reason to leave a job in the eyes of the police?

I just got another job that seems to be better and higher paying and while i could still do the boring one to a lesser extent, I really don't want to.

"I left for a better opportunity that met my short term goal of a better financial position while preparing to apply to the police department," sounds a lot better than, "I quit because it was boring."

You have to learn how to sell it.

Sort of like, "I beat him senseless with my baton," is not as good as, "The subject refused to cooperate with my verbal commands to give me his hands for cuffing. Due to the enclosed nature of the room my issue OC was not appropriate with family members nearby. I deployed my baton and struck 8 to 10 times to the back of his legs, when the subject finally gave up his hands and complied with being handcuffed."

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
