Hiring update

Hey all,

In the spirit of keeping everyone informed on where we applicants are in the process, this is where I stand: Over the past three months I've passed the written exam, physical ability test, and oral board for my city's Park Police Dept. I went in yesterday to get fingerprinted for the various national criminal checks, and to fill out my in-process paperwork for the academy which starts on October 16th. Recruiting made sure to inform us, of course, that we are still not yet hired. We just filled out the paperwork because it is due to the academy by the 2nd.

My BI, which has been going well so far, should be completed by this Wednesday. After that comes the psych, and medical exams (includes a second physical fitness eval). If all goes well, I'm in. Take care.
