FYI: Can't remember employment history fully?
I already posted this in another thread, but to serve as a FYI for anyone who missed that post, if you have trouble remembering your full employment history exactly (which if you had a different summer job while in school- like me in college), you can gain this information by one of two means:
1) Social Security Administration- Here the link to the page where you can gain this information from the SSA: Click Here.
2) State Department of Labor/Department of Industrial Relations- Another means is to contact your state labor agency (usually called Department of Labor or Department of Industrial Relations). They can provide the same information, and may get it to you quicker than the federal SSA, but keep in mind that they'll have info for their respective state. If you've worked in more than one state, go with SSA.
Hope this helps, and remember: keep copies of the information you receive, as you'll need it for any future LE applications you fill out.
Im filling out my application and I just recieved it yesterday and have I to turn it in on the 26th of July and as you can guess Im having the problem of remebering all my jobs or the dates would it be quicker to go with a online background check (does it even give u dates of ur jobs ?) than going with the two options you have listed has anyone used a online background check if so please help me get pointed in the right direction ! thanx again

One thing about the SSA employment history is that it will only give you the years that you were employed with each employer, not the month/day, so you may have to estimate if you aren't sure. I did a 10 year employment history and it ran me about $35 and took a little more than a month to arrive, so don't put this off until the last minute.

If you have your W2's handy, that'll have the information you need. It's a good idea to keep those...

1.) Welcome to the Forum.
2.) Don't type in all CAPITAL LETTERS, it's considered to be rude.
3.) Cronopoulos is not a police officer, nor is he generally well thought of here (the large red bar next to his name is negative reputation).
Feel free to intorduce yourself in the Rap Sheets area, then re-post your question in an new thread so more people will see it.
Good Luck-
Citicop.
