I have completed all the steps in the hiring process for the county police. It's been nearly two months since I have completed the last step. The only thing personnel can tell me is that my package is on the Chiefs desk for review. Has any one else experienced a delay such as mine. I heard the department has numerous vancancies?

It took roughly 6 weeks from the last step in my process to being given a conditional offer. I can only imagine that it would be longer in such a large department as LA County. Hang in there!
