Need some advice

Hey all, it's been a while, but I need some help. I just went online and saw that my dream dept. is giving a walk in exam tomorrow. I tested with this dept. over a year ago. I got pretty far in the process, but withdrew rather abruptly because I wasn't sure if it was the right time. Since then I have regretted withdrawing everyday. My past year has been less than stellar. I left school mid-semester in spring '05, but I have resumed my studies since then. I am leaning toward going tomorrow. Since the worst thing that they can say to me is "no," I feel that I should just take the test and let the chips fall where they may. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks guys. I took the written and passed on Fri. Had the PAT this morning and passed. Now I'm filling out my Background Questionnaire and trying to contact references because I'm scheduled for a polygraph in 4 hrs. Things are moving.

Went to my poly this afternoon. I was feeling pretty good about it because I was honest throughout my application, however, I was nervous as hell when I sat down. I took the poly and think I passed but am not sure. The polygrapher asked me what I was thinking about regarding a receiving stolen property question after it was over, but he said the test looked good. There was no interrogation or questioning after the test was over. He then escorted me to take some multiple choice test. I think I passed but am not 100% sure. Anyway, I have an oral board on Tuesday and then I'll get fingerprinted. Just very excited.
