    Quick Question

I want to sign up for the LASD, But I read somewhere a DQ can be "Anyone on Probation". Now I'm assuming that is family. Will this DQ me?

Not sure if what he did will make a difference, but heres a long story short. My cousin got into an altercation with some guys at a party, cousin was smart, Left, but the guys followed him via vehicle. There was an accident, a fight, cousin got really messed up, left for dead. In court my cousin remembered NOTHING. They said my cousin rammed their vehicle, beat up one of the guys badly (stiches in head), Anyways my cousin got off quite well in a halfway house, but he broke probation for DUI and served 4 years. He is a felon, convicted of Vehicular Manslaughter.

    Will this affect me?

    Thanks

We can't help our families, we can only help our behavior. As long as your behavior is upstanding and you aren't participating in your crummy family's criminal dealings you will be fine.

There are many cops with terrible families. Search the topic here it has already been covered in great detail.
