Hi everyone,

I did do a search on this PRIOR to posting, but came up empty.

Is anyone here familiar with the OCSO, FL Psychological Evaluation?

Is it a test, or an evaluation? If it is a test, does anyone know the name of it?

I worked both in North and South Florida departments. At both departments I had to take the MMPI and the CPI (I think that is what it was called). They were both the same and had hundred of questions on your behavior and feelings. Then once you were done, your test was graded and a psychologist would go over some issues that would come up from your test.

Best advice is to be truthful. There is a pattern to the test to detect deception and if that comes out, your not even going to meet with the Psych.

Like Nole said, just be truthful and be yourself. If you lie and try to make yourself look "good," you are screwed because the test will catch it. Just try to be consistent with your answers. Oh and be prepared to be there for maybe 4 or 5 hours.

No, I am not trying to cheat the test.......I am just like anyone who would like to find out what to expect before hand. Not trying to "trick" the system, I am too old for that horsesh!t.

And again, thank you to those who contributed. This is a great resource on the net. I was previously a member at http://www.masscops.com but I'd have to honestly say that the forum members there are 95% whacker and 5% the real deal.

I wouldn't even recommend going there.....the site is nice, but the users are very unprofessional.
