    Laspd - Lapd

Hey all. I havent posted in a while, but I just wanted to share some bad news and some potentially bad news. I also wanted to share some of my frustration's that I see some of you are having as well. I got DQ'd from the LASPD process this past week on the oral psych. I flew through the entire process without any problems, my BI said, "all you have to do is pass the oral psych. and you will be in the April Rio Hondo academy" and then wham I hit a brick wall and its all over. I have no idea what I did in that interview and the sad thing is no one will ever tell me. I tried to appeal, but I was denied the next day. I talked to the deputy chief to have my voice be heard, but she wouldnt give me any info and suggested that I do not talk to the Dr. as to why she thought I wasn't a qualified applicant. As much as I want to know, I also dont want to make myself look bad demanding my Oral Psych. file. I also heard that the Dr. used to work for LAPD. Go figure.
As for LAPD, my BI for LASPD told me I was DQ'd from LAPD for having too many jobs while I was in highschool and college. I found this out after my BI for LAPD told me he was done with my BG and turning it in to be certified. I still havent officially gotten my DQ letter, but I assume its on its way soon. I got both blows within one week. Whats fishy to me is that Both BI's talked the day after LAPD sent my file to be certified, which would mean my case manager DQ'd me in less than 24 hours after recieving my file, or my BI for LAPD " misguided me " we shall say.
What bothers me is that they are complaining so much that they dont have enough qualified applicants and yet they are DQing so many, for reasons that dont seem to have enough merrit for disqualification.
