FDLE is called to do the work, and police corruption is one of the major duties that FDLE handles at state level.
Okay this is where I chime in. Trust me when I say I have much more information on FDLE then what is posted. FDLE only investigates officer shootings if it involves state law enforcement, or if the department requests FDLE response, or if the governor requests an investigation.
Public corruption, not just police corruption is a duty of FDLE. There are much more cases dealing with public officials then sworn officers. While I won't go into specifics, your statement is off base.
I agree with Patrick, you need to change your user name. When I first saw it I almost thought you were with the agency till I saw what you posted about FDLE. It was clear your not an agent and probably held a support position of some type.
I'm proud that you have a lot of love for FDLE. It is a great agency, but some of your posts have been off kilter on what the responsibilities are of the agency.

Eunice: A .22? Oh you've gotta be kidding me. That's like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Detective Greenly: Yeah, or bringing a really small gun... to a gunfight.
