"I suspect the only reason 110 rounds was all that was fired was that's all the ammunition they had,"
Here it is:
This letter is in regards to *Me* who at this time is interested in Your Police department for employment. *Me* has been with the Auburn Hills FD Station 1for about a Yr. In that time I have seen *Me* Grow in confidence in his abilities as a FF. *Me* is eager to learn new things and has taken all the classes we ahve given him with willingness to learn to a high standard. The Fire Service is losing a FF. who in time could not only good But Really good, To a profession he really wants to become I think ANdrew will augment Your department nicely and Do a agreat job for your City. I have included my Phone numbers here if you have any questions I may be able to answer.
That's the letter exactly, except my name has been replaced with *me*

Turn it in. It reflects more poorly on him than you. You can't help you work for him.

As long as he's not a blood relative, turn it in. If he is, kick him in the nuts, then turn it in.Originally Posted by imalazypup
The recommendation is good. The grammar is poor.
The former reflects on YOU. The latter reflects on "NOT you". ;)

You can always write it up in a more proper format and have him sign it. Believe it or not I did that once. That was because my boss was too busy to write one so he asked me to write it for him.
You better believe I spread it on thick...:D
Eunice: A .22? Oh you've gotta be kidding me. That's like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Detective Greenly: Yeah, or bringing a really small gun... to a gunfight.

I would turn it in. However I had a similar problem and I simply wrote the letter myself and had my boss sign it. I kept his pride in tack by telling him that they were looking for specific things so I would write it and if he didn’t agree with something we could edit it.
