FIRST POST/ Concerned ??

Hi everybody, I'm new here on this forum,first post. Let me just start off by saying that I have read numerous amounts of threads and have obtained alot of good info regarding the hiring process. I am currently in the LAPD process myself and I had my Polygraph today. I wasn't to nervous about the test because I had a LASD polygraph a few months back, which I passed.(whole other headache) Today,after finishing the test, my examiner came back in and told me I had a problem with the theft from current employer question. I had previously told her and let my BI know I have taken Jelly from my employer ranging in value from $3 to 8$. I had also told them I have taken golf balls which are put aside to play golf with later on. ( I am security at a country club) The cart kids find these golf balls in the golf carts after members have used them. Some balls are chewed up and some are not. In my 3 years working there we have accumulated an estimated 200 to 300 balls that we have played golf with. Anyway, I asked her If i failed the test due to this issue and she just responded that her report will be sent to personnel and I should hear something in a month. I am kinda freakin out because this is the only issue I have had and I dont know if this is a DQing factor or not. I would really apprecate any info on this or anyone has had any similar responses like this from their polygraph examiner. Thanks alot

If she didn't try to calm your doubts and was "all business" after the poly, I think it will jam you up.

Bear in mind that I have never been a poly examiner, and I don't work for LAPD, but from what you said here, I would expect a "thanks for your interest" letter from personnel.

You see, Im just not sure, everything else is perfect, driving record , credit etc. I have heard of LAPD hiring guys that have injected stuff before.Plus I hear they need people bad. Not Sure. Ill just Try to stay positive.
