Should I just quit now ? =)

I am 19 years old and had recently moved back home from college from MIT (college is expensive) and becoming a police officer is something I always wanted to do with my life. But like many people I have partied just a bit.

So I have a few questions;
What are my chances of being accepted if I have smoked pot ( haven't for a year now, since school) and have done mushrooms (about 4 years ago once).

Also I have been arrested for driving while license suspended (license was suspended for more than 2 speeding tickets in a year)

I was also wondering what the Police Academies training will entail? Is this like straight-military training? Or some scaled down pseudo version of it?
