I went through that same era. Im 18. our Generation had computers while we went through puberty. Internet was just popping up in every home. You old folks are just mad you couldnt satisfy your needs when you were 14 ;)

I call BS. Reformatting is a major undertaking that requires a LOT of time. If you people were actually concerned about spyware you would simply change browsers and use anti-spyware.

If you think it's hard to find kiddie porn then you are (unfortunately) very wrong. Since it is not a felony here (at least not the first time, second charge is a felony if convicted the first time) and with the mitigating factors, it won't ruin your chances

But I have one problem:
When I was about 14 or 15 I would search the web for girls my age (I know this might sound stupid) but I knew I couldnt "get some" from older girls, so I would search for girls my age to make my fantasy more real (that's just sick, IMO). I know how stupid this sounds to all of you but would this be grounds for a DQ. I was a stupid little kid that had no idea of whether or not what I was doing was actually illegal.

Don't blame it on age. Nowadays a lot of kids are well "versed" when it comes to the internet. Good luck explaining that one to the BI. You will be asked about this in a polygraph and/or psych exam, if you ever get to that point.

There's nothing super wrong with looking at porn. Every man has done it at least once, if your name is michiganstud it's on a daily basis(:D), but as long as you don't lie about it in the hiring process you'll be fine I presume. Child pornography on the other hand is not freely available on the internet unless you are exchanging with a pedifile, or you use a shareware program to download it from pedifiles. I don't know where you are getting it but I would report any internet findings anonymously to the FBI(www.fbi.gov). You being a teenager at the time being interested in female girls your age sexually is more or less natural. But I strongly suggest if you are into the habit of looking at them still as an adult you be honest and seek some help.

You guys are getting me wrong I dont look at that trash, and I dont even know what a pedifile is. I just remember a couple years ago i typed in "young teen porn" and it came up. I didnt go through the big process of downloading software just to look at it. I was just a kid and typed it in a simple search engine. I think its just disguisting how they still have those sites running, and I repeate, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THAT KIND OF PORNOGRAPHY.
